To enhance the landscape of agricultural research and development (R&D) in the Philippines, the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) introduced the Industry Strategic Science and Technology Program Information System (ISP-IS), an online platform management tool and information hub for agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources (AANR) research and development.

A delegation from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) visited the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) to bolster educational and research collaborations, on February 19, 2024. The meeting was attended by key officials and representatives from both institutions to strengthen existing ties, explore new avenues of cooperation, and enhance AIT’s visibility within the Philippines.

In a dynamic exchange of ideas and collaboration, the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) embarked on a courtesy visit to the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) on February 26, 2024.
