Themed "Expanding Horizons through Impactful Public Service," the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) recently celebrated its 115th Foundation Day at the Charles Fuller Memorial Baker Hall, College, Laguna.


Toward enhancing the governance of the Seven Lakes in San Pablo City, Laguna, the University of the Philippines Los Baños-College of Public Affairs and Development (UPLB-CPAf), through its Center for Strategic Planning and Policy Studies (CSPPS), organized a comprehensive two-day training workshop on January 31–February 1, 2024 at the DIP Lab Learning Facility, CPAf, UPLB.

In a pivotal policy forum, the University of the Philippines Los Baños-School of Environmental Science and Management (UPLB-SESAM) led the discussions aimed at fostering the adoption of a science and technology (S&T)-based model for lake-based ecotourism management in Laguna de Bay. It was held on February 16, 2024 at the Acacia Hotel in Muntinlupa City.

In a dynamic alliance aimed at reflecting achievements, setting future goals, and fortifying enduring partnership, the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) recently conducted their 4th Partnership Health Check (PHC).

In a joint effort to enhance the capacity and sustainable production of calamansi farmers in Nueva Ecija, the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) collaborated with the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) to conduct a two-day training on standard and sustainable cultural management practices. The training was held from January 31 to February 1, 2024, in Brgy. Cabu, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
